Pearce, Bevill, Leesburg, Moore P.C. names new Director, Jeff Smith

Pearce, Bevill, Leesburg, Moore P.C. is pleased to announce that Jeffery S. Smith, CPA, AEP has been promoted to Director.

Smith is a lifelong resident of Birmingham, Alabama. After graduating from the University of Alabama in 1996, he obtained his Master of Accountancy Degree from the University of Alabama at Birmingham in 1997. Upon graduation, he worked for a local and a regional accounting firm prior to joining Pearce, Bevill, Leesburg, Moore P.C. in 2014. As an Accredited Estate Planner, Jeff concentrates his efforts on income, estate and trust tax planning, consultation, and compliance, with an emphasis on closely held businesses and high net worth families. Smith is a member of the Alabama Society of CPAs, American Institute of CPAs, and the National Association of Accredited Estate Planners. Smith has also served on the Board of Directors for the Estate Planning Council of Birmingham for nine years, including serving as president in 2020.
