Pearce, Bevill, Leesburg, Moore P.C. names new Managing Partner

Pearce, Bevill, Leesburg, Moore P.C. has named Carlos G. McDonald, CPA as the Firm’s new Managing Partner effective July 1, 2021.

Carlos is a member of the Board of Directors of Pearce, Bevill, Leesburg, Moore P.C. He is a native of Birmingham, Alabama and a 1997 graduate of the University of Alabama at Birmingham. He holds both a Bachelor’s and Master’s Degree in Accounting and Tax. Carlos joined the Firm in 1997.  Since then, he has concentrated his practice primarily on income and estate tax issues. He serves numerous individuals and closely held businesses in a wide variety of industries including construction, manufacturing, real estate, and professional services. Carlos assists clients with tax and financial planning, merger and acquisition consulting, design and implementation of employment benefit plans, succession planning, and estate planning. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Alabama Society of Certified Public Accountants. Carlos is also an active member of the Mountain Brook community and the Monday Morning Quarterback Club.

Carlos succeeds W. Robert Cook, CPA/ABV, who has served the past 4 years as Managing Partner for the Firm. “It has been an honor to serve,” said Robert. “Carlos is excited about the opportunity and looks forward to leading the Firm. He will do an outstanding job.” Robert will continue his full-time tax and accounting practice along with other professional and community service initiatives.

In addition to his duties as Managing Partner, Carlos will continue his full-time tax and accounting practice along with other community service commitments.
